N.C.C training is voluntary to all students.
During the second year of the two year training period all cadets shall attend, in addition to the normal training, an annual training camp of ten days.
Indiscipline and irregularity will be severely dealt with in the Organization. The principal can fine a cadet for indiscipline and irregularity up to Rs.50 and can remove his name from the rolls of the college after informing the vice-Chancellor. Lt.P.Ravindranath Reddy
National Cadet Corps was established in 1948 and the College started it in 1969. We have two companies 5/35 and 4/35 2nd Lt. P. Ravindranath Reddy and Mr.S.Guruprasad are our N.C.C officers. We have conducted Annual Training Camps, Pre Republic Day Celebration camp and adventure activity camps. Our cadets have participated in National Integration Camps at New Delhi and Surya Lanka. Five of our cadets have taken part in Trekking at Ranchi, Bihar in November 2001. P.Ravindranath Reddy and four cadets participated in Republic Day Celebrations camp in Hyderabad in September 2001. The same officer has participated in Army Attachment Camp in Hyderabad along with 18 cadets in October 2001. Major G.B.Karunakar Reddy (Former NCC Officer) and 2nd Lieutenant P.Ravindranath Reddy have led a contingent of 65 cadets to participate in Annual Training Camp at Chittoor in May 2001. The unit received Best Unit Award from the Governor of Karnataka for their blood donation program in September 2001.As many as 168 cadets have participated in pulse polio program on
2-12-2001 and 20-1-2002. Ward to ward Literacy survey was conducted in the municipal area of Madanapalli town.

ls. The following are the Coordinators of four Units:
Sri. M.Jayavardhan, Lecturer in Economics, Dr.C.Poornachand, Reader History,Dr.R.Gopal Naidu, Reader in Commerce and Smt.T.R.Usha Rani Lecturer in Botany are our NSS officers. Under their able guidance and supervision our students actively participated in clean and green program every 3rd Saturday. Our officers with the help of student volunteers have done a commendable service by removing Rubber plants in a five acre water tank at jonnavaripalli. They also undertook the task of laying channels to catchment tanks. A Rally was conducted in jonnavaripalli. Our college is adjudged as the best and foremost in conducting AIDS Awareness program. Blood Donation camp was also organized in a grand scale.
This unit is registered with the A. P. State Branch of Indian Red Cross Society. Governor of Andhra Pradesh is the Chairman of the above Society. As per the Proceedings of the Commissioner of Collegiate Education, Andhra Pradesh every student has to pay Rs.10/- towards membership in which Rs.5/- is to be paid to Indian Red Cross Society. The balance is to be used for the College Unit of Red Cross Society. The following activities are taken up AIDS Awareness Program, Blood donation Camps, providing help to the blind, the deaf and the dumb. Dental Camps and Traffic Safety Programs.
