                                                Games and sports are essential in a student’s life for they alone give necessary strength and resistance to the body. Thanks to the efforts of Staff  in the physical Education Department, our girls and boys have won laurels at different levels in various games.

                                              Academic Year starts with general practice session. Two outstanding players; one from Degree Course and One from Intermediate Course will be nominated as General Games Secretaries. Selections Meet is  conducted for all games and sports and the teams are formed based on the performance in the Meet. Then the teams are allowed to  participate in the Intercollegiate tournaments.

                                              Intramural games are conducted every year by dividing all the students into four Cottages (groups) namely Arundale, Besant, Tagore and Olcott . Competitions are conducted in all disciplines. (games and sports) Individual Championship and overall championship shields are given to the Champions. Individual prizes are distributed to all the winners and runners-up players in the College Annual Sports Day  function.

                                              Apart from the activities in the College the Department of Physical Education is conducting Tournaments and Summer Coaching Camps for the public and students. In the tournaments side the prestigious Trilokekar All India Gold Cup Tournament is one of the major tournaments and Besant Cup is district level tournament.

                                             College has  good Infrastructure facilities  like  football and cricket fields, a mini Hockey stadium which is called as Jinarajadasa Hockey Stadium, Two Basket Ball courts, Four Volley Ball courts, Four Ball Badminton courts, one Indoor Hall for Badminton and enough place is there for Kabaddi ,Kho-Kho Hand Ball and other games. And we have multi purpose Gymnasium for physical training.
